Over 50 windmills on display with information on manufacturers, membership, news, windmills and contacts.

The goal of the Mid-America Windmill Museum is to preserve the history of our culture from the evolution of wind power, through the working of the American Windmill, to today's modern technology. By preserving this history we will educate visitors about the changes in technology and the evolution of today's society. Video presentations, personal tours of the working and still-life displays, photographs and informational areas, hands-on displays, and an on site library will give our visitors a variety of activities to utilize while learning about our past.

The Mid-America Windmill Museum is the only known operational museum of it's kind in the United States. Because of the concentration of windmill manufacturer's within 100 miles, the Kendallville community was chosen as the site of this new Northeast Indiana cultural tourist attraction.
