A private, four-year liberal arts institution in Franklin. Franklin's academic programs offer challenging, small classes centered on discussion and interaction - not just the absorption of facts.

The college has a full schedule of activities. Regular programs include coffee-house style musicians, presentations about important issues and visits from advocates of social conscience. Some have included a Nobel Peace Prize winner, the grandson of Mahatma Gandhi, the writer of the film "Hoosiers" and much, much more.

Franklin also offers more than 60 different student organizations on campus. This includes academic clubs, student congress, intramural athletics, political or religious groups, fine arts activities, Greek life, honorary organizations and professional groups. If Franklin College doesn’t offer a particular organization, a number of students have started their own.
