Holy Cross College is a two-year liberal arts transfer-intent Catholic institution of higher learning located in Notre Dame, Indiana adjacent to the University of Notre Dame and Saint Mary's College.

Holy Cross College is conducted by the Brothers of the Congregation of Holy Cross and first opened its doors in the fall of 1966 as "Holy Cross Junior College", with its first class consisting of student Brothers. Male students enrolled in the fall of 1967. The College became co-educational in the fall of 1968. A four-year baccalaureate program debuted in the Fall of 2003 with an inaugural class of 15 students. Local, national, and international students are enrolled at Holy Cross College, which included students from 35 states and 8 foreign countries during the 2003-2004 academic year.

Located just north of the city limits of South Bend, Indiana, Holy Cross College is adjacent to the campuses of the University of Notre Dame and Saint Mary's College. This geographical proximity has the obvious advantage of providing Holy Cross students an association with two major Catholic centers of learning. As an autonomous institution, Holy Cross College is not an adjunct to either institution. Holy Cross students who wish to transfer to the University of Notre Dame or Saint Mary's College must meet the same academic transfer requirements as any transfer student seeking admission. Holy Cross students have successfully transferred and graduated from these two institutions, in addition to over 210 other colleges and universities.
