Hartman Brothers was started in 1963 because the Hartman family had a dream about owning their own business. Today, the business provides career opportunities for 21 people, including second generation Hartman family members. In 1973, the new facility that was constructed at 535 Green Street, New Haven, Indiana, which is the company's location today. Hartman Brothers added a radio dispatch system to all the company's service vehicles in 1980. At the same time, they started a "round-the-clock" service team to provide better service to their customers. This 24/7 service feature has become known as our Planned Service Agreement. This system allows us to offer factory recommended preventative maintenance to our customers on a yearly basis and gives our customers the piece of mind in knowing their equipment will function when they need it most.
Today, Hartman Brothers consists of a variety of departments including installation, engineering, sheet metal fabrication, sales and service. Additional services are offered including custom designed heating, cooling, and ventilation systems, energy audits, and heat loss/heat gain analysis.
