The Antler Log Cabins named Moosehead, Absolute Solitude, Absolute Tranquility, Angler's and Aspen Leaf are authentic log cabins built by the owners, from the ground up. The trees have been harvested from the ground on which the cabins stand. This is the same ground that has been in the owner's family since 1834. You will enjoy the clean lodge-like interiors and find plenty to do (...or not do) as you like.
From the hand hewed corners to the sassafras staircases, each cabin has its own distinct layout. Of course the cabins wouldn't be complete without their brown county stone fireplaces, antler chandeliers, rustic pine furniture, and western prints and photographs. All rentals are well landscaped and maintained for year round enjoyment, and seasonally decorated for your home away from home. Antlers, furnishings and decorations were brought back by the owners from many excursions to the Rocky Mountains and the West.
